Getting Started with Ivanti

After installing the Ivanti Agent, you can begin using the Ivanti Neurons platform. The console provides a centralized interface for device visibility, real-time actions, and automation through Neurons Bots.

This article describes the basic navigation and key features to help you get started.
  1. Home Page: Provides an overview of devices health, device activity, and key widgets.
  2. Navigation Pane: Use the left-side menu to switch between modules such as Devices, Realtime, and Bots.
  3. Search Bar: Quickly locate devices, policies, or users.
Core Workspaces
  1. Devices
    1. Displays all endpoints enrolled with the Ivanti Agent and discovered by connectors.
    2. Provides device details such as operating system, hardware specifications, and compliance status.
    3. Allows administrators to initiate remote actions like reboot, update, or isolate.
  2. Realtime
    1. Offers live communication with endpoints.
    2. Administrators can run real-time queries (e.g., battery status, patch version, logged-in users).
    3. Results are displayed within seconds, allowing rapid troubleshooting.
  3. Neurons Bots
    1. Automates tasks across devices and users.
    2. Bots can be pre-built or customized to perform actions such as patch compliance, application deployment, or user notifications.
    3. Supports scheduling and conditional logic for advanced automation scenarios with the Healing license.
